Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- More than 172 100 schools and classes in the DPRK have won Honored Red Flag (including twice and thrice) for the last 10-odd years under the warm loving care of the motherly Workers' Party of Korea which trains the members of the Korean Children's Union as reliable pillars of prosperous Korea.

The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un in his works, including "Let KCU Members Become True Sons and Daughters, Young Revolutionaries, of the Socialist Country" and "March towards the Future of a Powerful Country under the Unfurled Flag of the Children's Union", clarified the important guidelines for further improving the work of the KCU and training all the KCU members to be reliable successors to the Korean revolution.

The respected fatherly Marshal's great love and trust served as the motive power for glorifying the new era of the Juche revolution as a heyday of strengthening the children's organizations.

Schools and Children's Union organizations across the country have made progress in the ideological and spiritual growth and study of students and the strengthening of the Children's Union organizations through mass movements for winning the titles of Honoured Red Flag School and Honoured Red Flag Class, true to the intention of the peerlessly great man.

Kim Kum Sun Senior Middle School in Sinuiju City and Songnim Senior Middle School in Songnim City have made efforts to prepare the students as true young revolutionaries and young guards carrying forward the tradition of patriotism and loyalty, thus winning the title of Thrice Honoured Red Flag School.

In 2022 when the Ninth Congress of the KCU was held, more than 30 schools were awarded the title of Honoured Red Flag School (including twice and thrice). Through the movement for winning the title, the new generations growing up to be pillars of the future displayed their ideological and moral traits to the full.
