Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, is witnessing another auspicious event of moving into new houses with the completion of building 10 000 flats at the fourth stage in the Hwasong area.

Moving into new houses has become a common scene in the city that can be seen in every spring.

Such scene was witnessed in Songhwa Street in 2022, Hwasong Street in 2023, Rimhung Street and Jonwi Street in 2024 and a new third-stage district in the Hwasong area in 2025.

A constant stream of removal vans flows to different parts of the new street, owners of new houses are filled with the delight of receiving the licenses for the use of new houses free of charge and the builders extend warm congratulations to them. Their looks are a happy scene of the large socialist family blossoming day by day under the care of the Workers' Party.

Such scenes as moving into new houses have been provided under the devoted service and warm benevolence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the people.

In his speech at a ground-breaking ceremony for the building of 10 000 flats in Pyongyang on March 23, 2021, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un said that to build 50 000 flats in Pyongyang is something our Party has long intended, made preparations for and aspired to do in order to provide the citizens of the capital city with more stable and cultured living conditions.

He gave detailed guidance to the preparations for grand construction at each stage, including 1 000-odd layouts for Songhwa Street, more than 1 630 layouts for the residential district at the first stage in the Hwasong area, and nearly 1 000 layouts for Rimhung Street, and led the whole course of construction projects so that they were stepped up substantially.

Thanks to the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Un who visited the new streets under construction and guided to complete them without any slightest shortcomings, new streets for the people have appeared one after another and the scenes of moving into new houses have been displayed.

Such scenery shows the happiness of the people who will lead a new life and a new civilization of socialism under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea and the true picture of socialist Korea where the people-first politics is embodied. -0-
