Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Great Leaders

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons, working people and schoolchildren of the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il across the country on the occasion of the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

Flower baskets in the name of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries and national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces and institutions and enterprises at all levels and universities in Pyongyang as well as bouquets and flowers were laid at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill.

Recollecting the noble careers of the President and the Chairman who performed immortal exploits for the times and the revolution, the country and its people, the visitors paid tribute to the statues.

Flower baskets in the name of institutions, enterprises and KPA and PSF units were placed at the statues of the great leaders in various parts of the capital city, including Kim Il Sung University and the Ministry of National Defence.

Servicepersons, working people and schoolchildren in other parts of the country visited the statues of the peerlessly great men in their residential areas to pay a floral tribute to them. -0-
