Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- The Hyesan Dairy Cattle Farm under the Ryanggang Provincial Rural Economy Committee in the DPRK is steadily increasing the production of dairy products.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un took a benevolent measure to send it lots of dairy cattle of supra-species in October last year.

The farm put the process of raising dairy cattle on a scientific basis to increase the breeding rate. As a result, it raised the number of dairy cattle 1.5 times as compared with that in the same period of last year.

It has activated the operation of the barley-sprout growing ground in order to feed fresh sprouts to dairy cattle and boost their weight ratio. It is producing much more milk than the planned every day.

It improved the performance of milk powder production equipment with its own efforts and technology, thus providing a guarantee for raising the quality and yield of milk powder.

It disinfects the cattle sheds and vaccinates dairy cattle in a regular way and makes efficacious veterinary medicines with the locally available medicinal herbs.

Meanwhile, it is taking care of the nutrition of pregnant dairy cows in a scientific and technological way, and improving the production conditions and environments in a cultural and sanitary manner. -0-
