Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Jong Bok, a woman resident in Neighbourhood Unit No. 68, the township of Taehung County, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK, on her 100th birthday.

The centenarian expressed her gratitude to Kim Jong Un who has shown his warm loving care even for an ordinary old woman though he is so busy with all state affairs.

She, who was born in a foreign land and had to undergo the sorrow of a stateless nation during the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule, could lead a genuine life only when she returned to homeland.

With her mind to repay the benevolence of the Workers' Party of Korea which provided a happy new life, she has worked hard to do good things for the country.

Officials of the county and villagers congratulated her, sharing joy with her. -0-
