Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- The Chonnae Area Coal Mining Complex in the DPRK has produced 10 000 more tons of coal than the same period of last year.

The coal miners concentrate their efforts on tunneling in the areas with large coal deposits and favorable mining conditions and increase production by more than 1.5 times every day through continuous drilling and blasting.

They are maintaining and repairing coal mining equipment in a responsible manner to operate them in full capacity and applying innovative blasting methods according to rock conditions.

Workers and technicians of the supply units have made a great contribution to carrying out the plan through smooth supply of coal wagons and wheels, wire ropes and small tools. -0-
