Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- There took place an exhibition of construction equipment and a ceremony of putting vehicles in service for the fifth-stage construction in the Hwasong Area on March 17.

Presented to the exhibition and the ceremony were various kinds of machinery and equipment, repair tools and accessories prepared by construction units.

Present there were Kim Jong Gwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials of the construction headquarters and construction units.

The Pyongyang Construction Commission Brigade presented trucks, truck mixers, truck cranes and other vehicles and a hand bender whose advantages have been proved in practice in the course of the mass technological innovation movement.

Practicable repair jigs, made by the first and third brigades of ministries and national agencies, drew the attention of participants.

The Pyongyang municipal housing construction division under the Ministry of National Defence and the brigades of the Ministry of Public Security and the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee were highly appreciated as they prepared spare parts and portable tools to increase freight transporting capacity and the rate of operation of construction equipment. -0-
