Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- Builders of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry in the DPRK step up the housing construction in the Komdok area.

They completed the foundation work for dwelling houses planned this year, including an additional project, and are pushing forward with the wall masonry work.

They also finished the land leveling, land fill of 20 000 cubic meters of earth, and building of 2 000 square meters of retaining walls to build a bridge, while hastening the construction of scores of public buildings in a three-dimensional way.

The General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry has timely solved problems arising in carrying out the project in conformity with the high-altitude field conditions, ensuring the construction quality.
