Successes Made in Land Realignment

Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- The Land Realignment Shock Brigade in the DPRK has made successes by pressing ahead with the grand nature-remaking project.

Over the past five years, more than 33 500 hectares of land have been realigned into fields fit for mechanized farming and into standardized fields, and the networks of facilities of thousands of hectares of tideland built across the country. This laid a solid foundation for secure rice-field farming.

The officials and members of the shock brigade are making uninterrupted innovations and progress toward a higher goal to glorify the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as the one of victors and glory. -0-
