Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- An oratorical meeting of workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) took place at the Central Hall of Workers on Wednesday to celebrate the 79th anniversary of national liberation.

Present there were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, officials of the trade unions and workers and trade union members in Pyongyang.

At the meeting there was a briefing on the fact that President Kim Il Sung wisely organized and led the final offensive operation for Korea's liberation.

The performers sang in high praises of the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who liberated the country for the Korean people by leading the arduous anti-Japanese revolutionary war to a shining victory and laid an eternal foundation for building a powerful and prosperous state on this land and the personality of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as the peerlessly great man who is adding eternal brilliance to the precious revolutionary legacy of the peerlessly great men. -0-
