New Calendars Published in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- Calendars have been published in the DPRK on the occasion of the hopeful New Year 2026.

They reflect the proud reality of the country which greeted a new era of eye-opening miracle and transformation under the care of the great Workers' Party of Korea to realize the people's beautiful dreams and ideals.

Edited in them, brought out by the February 16 Art Education Publishing House, the Industrial Publishing House and the Agricultural Publishing House, are pictures of new civilized streets symbolizing a fresh heyday of the capital city construction and fairyland villages translated into the socialist ideal ones in different parts of the country, majestic figures of modern regional-industry factories and conspicuous sceneries.

The Social Science Book Publishing House and the Higher Educational Books Publishing House showed in their calendars the absolute weaponry of the armed forces of the Republic, which stockpiled the strongest absolute strength in the world, and hotels, cinema and other spectacular structures in the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area turned into a national treasure-level tourist resort under the loving care of the motherly Party.

The Art and Literature Publishing House carried the art pieces showing the vibrant reality of the country and the looks of the happy people.

The Science and Encyclopedia Publishing House produced calendars dealing with the beautiful manners and customs and good culinary culture of the DPRK people and handicrafts of various themes. -0-
