Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- Farms in Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK is concentrating all their manpower and means on rice-transplanting.

They have ensured in a responsible manner the supply and transplantation of rice seedlings according to every field and breed while giving priority to harrowing. And they are taking measures to supply enough water to the fields to create favorable conditions enabling the seedlings to take roots.

They are also expanding the area under rice cultivation by increasing the operation rate of nutritive rice-transplanting machines.

By raising the technical and skill level of operators of rice-transplanting machines, they have transplanted rice seedlings in more fields than planned every day. -0-
