Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- June 6 is the holiday of the Korean Children's Union and, at the same time, the precious holiday of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK people.

The parents of the KCU members and other people across the country extend warm congratulations to the members of the KCU, the pride, hope and future of socialist Korea.

Thanks to the guidance of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, who put forward the work related to the KCU as the important one for ensuring the future of the revolution and warmly guided it in each period and at each stage of the developing revolution, the KCU members could grow up cheerfully, boldly and vigorously.

Today the Korean children's movement is greeting a new heyday under the leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The benevolent image of Kim Jong Un, who warmly congratulated the members of the KCU across the country and wished the rising generation the bright future by attending the joint national meeting of the KCU organizations in celebration of the 66th founding anniversary of the KCU, the Seventh and Eighth congresses of the KCU, is deeply cherished by the KCU members and the DPRK people.
