Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- Officials, technicians and workers in the construction and building-materials industry of the DPRK have made progress in revitalizing the production of building-materials through a mass technical innovation movement.

The Sunchon Cement Complex succeeded in the introduction of a multi-channel pulverized-coal burner of high economic value. This provided a material and technical guarantee for saving thousands of tons of coal per year while increasing the cement production by tens of thousands of tons.

The Taean Friendship Glass Factory successfully finished the technological preparations for expanding the production capacity, while pushing ahead with the establishment of new processes for production of various kinds of glass.

The Chonnaeri Cement Factory put the operation of modern clinker cooler on a normal basis through a vigorous mass technological innovation movement. -0-
