Progress Made in Implementation of Regional Development Policy for New Year

Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Amid the new year's full-scale construction projects going on in the DPRK to implement the new regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea, progress is being made in the supply of construction equipment, cement, steel, timber and other materials.

The non-permanent central committee for promoting Regional Development 20×10 Policy has meticulously conducted organizational and political work to give full play to the high sense of responsibility in implementing the regional development policy, mindful that the success of the great revolution, decided and guided by the Party Central Committee, depends on the political and policy-oriented guidance of officials.

This year, the regional construction is going on in a big way across the country. Under such condition, heavy trucks, hydraulic excavators, concrete-mixing vehicles and other heavy machines, equipment and apparatus are being supplied to the grand construction sites rapidly in advance.

Officials and workers across the country are striving for the increased production and the transport of more freight to provide much more materials to the theaters for regional development revolution.
