Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Art educational institutions across the DPRK strive to train more promising talented artistes.

Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun University of Music and Dance is training students to be talents of practical abilities capable of skillfully carrying out any artistic representation tasks by intensifying the teaching of majors and constantly exploring and applying new teaching methods in conformity with the characteristics of the education of talented artistes.

Pyongyang University of Fine Arts has encouraged students to take part in national exhibitions to consolidate their knowledge.

Haeju and Sinuiju school of arts are improving the students' ability by making efficient use of the educational aid programs and multimedia for education.

Schools of arts in Hamhung, Hyesan and Phyongsong cities are regularly organizing artistry presentations and exhibitions of works while giving more time to practical training to develop artistic abilities and potentials of students. -0-
