Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The foundation work is progressing apace at the construction sites for regional-industry factories, hospitals and leisure complexes in 20 cities and counties of the DPRK.

Officers and soldiers of the 124th Regiments of the Korean People's Army involved in the construction of regional-industry factories and hospitals have demonstrated the mettle and combat efficiency peculiar to the revolutionary army.

Service personnel, dispatched to Kangnam and Songhwa counties and Phanmun District, have finished the foundation work for regional-industry factories. And those in Unnyul, Sijung and Sinhung counties and Taean District are speeding up the ground concrete tamping by raising the operation rate of vehicles.

Those in charge of the construction of the Songhwa County Hospital completed the ground concrete tamping. Meanwhile, soldier-builders involved in the construction of hospitals in Kangnam, Maengsan, Sonchon and Sinphyong counties have carried out a large amount of concrete tamping every day.

Officers and soldiers in Hwaphyong, Sijung, Ragwon, Myonggan and Musan counties are stepping up the ground concrete tamping by using efficient construction equipment and tools and introducing advanced working methods in the construction of hospitals.

Achievements are also made in the construction of leisure complexes in 20 cities and counties.

Thanks to high enthusiasm of soldier-builders, successes are being expanded every day at grand construction theaters. -0-
