Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- DPRK players returned home on December 16 after taking part in the 5th Asian Youth Para Games held in the United Arab Emirates.
Pak Kyong Sok won two gold medals in the men's 100-meter breaststroke and the 50-meter freestyle in the MS6.
In the MS9, So Kwang Nam beat his Indian rival 3:1 in the semi-finals of the men's table tennis singles and his Malaysian rival 3:0 in the final.
The players and coaches who returned home after displaying the honor of the country were greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by their families and officials of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled.
Members of the Korea Sports Association of the Disabled put garlands around the necks of the players and coaches and presented bouquets to them, congratulating them on their successes. -0-
