Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- South Phyongan Province of the DPRK is pushing ahead with the rural housing construction planned for this year.

The province has solved the problems arising in supplying materials and strengthening the material and technical foundations of city and county construction brigades while generalizing the successes and experience of advanced units.

It has also taken measures to provide all units with efficient equipment and tools such as mini cranes and decorative plastering tools.

Builders of Sukchon County carried out the foundation project in a short span of time by raising the operation rate of heavy machines. They are now speeding up the frame project at the final stage through application of advanced construction methods.

Kaechon and Tokchon cities and Sinyang and Taehung counties have carried out their assignments by enhancing the level of specialized construction and ensuring proper process-by-process engagement.

The province is stepping up the work to increase the proportion of homemade finishing building materials by expanding the capacity of building-materials production units. -0-
