Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- More than two hundred million saplings have been supplied by modern provincial tree nurseries in the DPRK this year, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The tree nurseries in Kangwon and North Hamgyong provinces concentrated their efforts on producing saplings in a quantitative and qualitative way after learning about the species and quantity needed in provinces, now that the forest restoration campaign is being conducted at a new high stage.

Tree nurseries of North Hwanghae, South Hamgyong and other provinces produced organic fertilizer and humus soil to increase the fertility of outdoor cultivation grounds. They conducted the process-specific work in compliance with technical regulations, as required by biological characteristics and seasonal conditions, thus raising good species of saplings. -0-
