Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- Youth shock brigades of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex in the DPRK have conducted brisk revolutionary mass movements to raise their tunneling results.

The members of the Kim Hyok Youth Shock Brigade at the Namdok Youth Coal Mine are increasing the blasting efficiency 1.3 times by using advanced drilling methods according to rock qualities and raising the proportion of mechanization of the face work.

Those of the O Jung Hup Youth Shock Brigade at the Phunggok Youth Coal Mine set the drilling positions and blasting angles in a rational way and increase the operation rate of the face equipment to ensure the speed per circulation.

Youth shock brigade members at other coal mines, including those of the Cha Kwang Su Youth Shock Brigade of the Inpho Youth Coal Mine, are expanding their successes through movements for doing one more shift or assisting the next shift.

The members of the Kim Jin Youth Shock Brigade at the Songnam Youth Coal Mine are registering high tunneling results while taking good care of tunneling equipment and introducing advanced blasting methods.

After receiving the speech made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the workers and officials of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine, the youth shock brigade members at the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex are making redoubled efforts to implement the decisions of the Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea with loyalty and patriotism to repay the Party's trust with proud successes in increasing coal production. -0-
