Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Choe Ho Won, a woman living in Neighborhood Unit No. 55, Samma-dong, Jongju City, North Phyongan Province of the DPRK, on her 100th birthday.

The centenarian expressed her deep gratitude to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un for having shown his loving care for an ordinary old woman.

Officials of the Jongju City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and villagers congratulated her family on its auspicious event.

Choe suffered all manner of humiliation and insult before the liberation of Korea. She could enjoy a worthwhile and happy life after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country, and had dedicated herself to the grain production for decades to repay the benevolence of the President.
