Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- The 2023 Spring National Footwear Exhibition opened under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Light Industry.

Presented to the exhibition are more than 200 000 products of over 930 kinds produced at scores of units, including Ryuwon and Sinuiju footwear factories and Wonsan and Sunchon leather shoes factories, and more than 40 research achievements made in the field of footwear industry.

The exhibition is to be held through technological exchange, sci-tech presentation and seminar in the way of judgment of the participants and jury via the sale of products.

Its opening ceremony took place at the Pyongyang Yokjon Department Store on March 24.

Present there were Vice-Premier Ri Song Hak, Minister of Light Industry Kim Chang Sok, officials concerned and officials of the participating units, teachers, researchers, technicians, three-revolution team members and others.
