Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Friday:

- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to a centenarian in Hyesan City of Ryanggang Province.

- The central election committee for the election of deputies to the 15th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK issued a report.

- Achievements are being made in different units and across the country.

- A stamp exhibition opened to mark the lapse of 80 years after the first stamp was issued in the country.

- A presentation and seminar on technology and experience in the paddy-field fish farming took place.
