Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- The regional-industry factories in Jaeryong and Unchon counties of South Hwanghae Province in the DPRK are pushing ahead with the work to improve the quality of products and expand their varieties, regarding the demand of the people as their standard.

In connection with relevant sectors, the factories organized passing-on technique and practice several times to increase the ranks of technicians and skilled workers possessed of more technical knowledge and skills and newly developed tens of kinds of products with locally available raw materials.

The Jaeryong County Foodstuff Factory has increased the variety of foodstuffs including biscuits, carbonated juice, pepper paste and soybean sauce and the packaging containers and various forms of clothes made by the Jaeryong County Daily Necessities Factory and the Jaeryong County Garment Factory are appreciated by residents.

The Unchon County Foodstuff Factory has organized technical innovation contests for developing popular goods with its regional specialties such as sweet potato and intensified the masses' appreciation of new products. The Unchon County Daily Necessities Factory and the Unchon County Garment Factory are producing various kinds of soaps and plastic containers and new types of seasonal clothes. -0-
