Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- There took place an evening gala and torchlight procession of youth and students "Forever with Party Central Committee" at Kim Il Sung Square on April 30.

The platform was taken by Kim Jae Ryong and Ri Il Hwan, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ju Chang Il, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., WPK, Kim Song Gi, member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, officials of the Central Committee of the youth league and exemplary youth league officials and members.

Seen on seats for invited guests and auditorium were the participants in the Eleventh Congress of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, youth and students in Pyongyang and members of congratulatory groups of the Korean Youth League in Japan and the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and the home-visiting group of students in their final year at Korea University of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan.

The melody of the song "Oh Party, It's Thanks to Your Care" resounded and the spectacular fireworks beautifully adorned the night sky over the square, and lots of young people danced in joy to significantly mark the congress of the youth league.

The festive atmosphere revved up as fireworks were set off amid the display of various changes of formation and colorful folk dances and gymnastic dances.

When an all-people hymn "Dear Father" resounded, the venue of the gala was heated with boundless reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is making the great history of valuing the youth on this land and bringing up the young people to be heroes of the times with his ardent love and affection.

All the participants danced, enthusiastically singing the all-people hymn, full of great honor and happiness of glorifying their youth under the care of the great father.

The song "We Are Koreans" rocked the square and spectacular fireworks beautifully decorated the end of the evening gala.

Then the torchlight procession began.

Amid the play of the solemn melody of the revolutionary hymn "Ode to General Kim Jong Un", the columns of marchers holding flaming torches to show the letters "Youth Vanguard" led by the ones depicting the august name of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un proudly entered the square.

The columns of marchers depicting the letters "First Death-defying Corps" went past the square where a blazing torch was shaped to demonstrate the vigorous spirit of the young people in the great era of Kim Jong Un, who will dash forward in the van of the sacred struggle for the prosperity and development of the dignified DPRK, holding higher the banner of loyalty to the Party and the revolution and patriotism as a symbol of faith and as a banner of creation and feats.

The emblem of the Workers' Party of Korea and letters "Youth League" and "Forever with the Party Central Committee" appeared in the square to fully show the firm faith and will of the young vanguard to advance along the road of the Juche cause to the end, holding higher the torch of the revolution under the leadership of the great Workers' Party of Korea which takes responsibility for the destiny and future of the young people across the country and glorifies them.

The square reverberated with thunderous sound of slogans all the participants chanted, representing their pledge to become young vanguard boundlessly loyal to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un and fireworks were set off to become beautiful confetti of flames and flashes. -0-
