Myongsasimni, Scenic Spot of DPRK

Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- There is Myongsasimni, the height of the coastal scenic spot in the Kalma peninsula of the East Sea of Korea.

Myongsasimni means the ten-ri white beach (four kilometers) of the Kalma peninsula.

The white beach is a coast sandy beach sedimentary stratum in the Quaternary of the Cenozoic Era.

The main mineral constituents of the coast sandy beach are quartz, feldspar, mica, etc.

The scenery of Myongsasimni in the background of tall pine trees and clear and blue waves of the East Sea is beautiful. When sweet briers are in full bloom on the shiny, white and clear sandy beach, it looks like a red flower carpet. So it has been well known at home and abroad from long ago.

Many hotels, hostels, sea-bathing service facilities, sports and amusement facilities, commercial and catering establishments and other public service establishments have been built at Myongsasimni on the initiative and under the wise guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

In the daytime, buildings with peculiar architectural beauty suit with the natural scenery of Myongsasimni and in the evening, electric light decorations add shine to its peculiar scenery.
