Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- Officials, workers and technicians at the pharmaceutical and medical appliances production units of the DPRK are waging a dynamic campaign for increased production in the same spirit as was displayed in implementing the national economic plan for November.

Koryo medicine pharmaceutical production units are making collective innovations to attain this year's goal.

The Kanggye City Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, Huichon City Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, Kanggye Koryo Medicine-processing Factory and other Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories have carried out the plans for the production of efficacious Koryo medicines on all indices.

Pharmaceutical factories in different parts of the country are achieving more successes in the year-end production.

The Sunchon Pharmaceutical Factory and many other medicine factories have carried out their daily and weekly production plans in time by launching a collective technical innovation movement.

Medical appliances factories, too, are making innovations.

The Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory has manufactured various medical equipment and appliances and sent them to preventive and curative institutions at all levels.

The Pyongyang Medical Appliances Factory and the Kaesong Disabled Soldiers' Medical Appliances Factory have introduced advanced technology and steadily increased the processing capacity and precision of equipment to boost the production. -0-
