Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- The chief secretaries of city and county committees of the Workers' Party of Korea and the chairpersons of city and county people's committees across the DPRK, who have launched a new journey for another qualitative leap forward for the comprehensive socialist construction after receiving the fighting strategy set forth by the Ninth Congress of the WPK, on Feb. 28 visited the Samgwang Livestock Farm under the North Phyongan Provincial Rural Economy Committee turned into a modern stockbreeding base.

Thanks to the far-reaching plan and energetic leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to turn all the rural areas of the country into rich and civilized ones good to live in and work, Samgwang-ri has undergone a dramatic change to clearly show the new level of Korean-style rural civilization and the orientation of development of the animal husbandry.

The senior city and county officials, who arrived at the farm with great interest and expectation, were greatly impressed by the view of the ideal modern village which has been wonderfully built as a model of the rural construction and the development of animal husbandry in the new era.

Being briefed on the fact that all the requirements of the Party for the modernization of animal husbandry have been met in the whole course of production and management activities, the visitors went round various places of the farm including the first branch, protected cultivation floor and milk production ground.

Looking round the production facilities where all the factors for the development of animal husbandry have been perfectly introduced, they learned in depth the orientation and ways to build new stockbreeding bases in conformity with the characteristics and conditions of their regions, push ahead with modernization of existing facilities and radically increase the production of livestock products.

They realized once again the validity and vitality of the Party's policy, listening to the producers and technicians who are working in modern and civilized environment where advanced methods such as raising animals indoors regardless of the seasonal influence were introduced in raising grass-eating domestic animals and milk production and production processes were put on an automated and modern basis.

The beautiful scenery of Samgwang-ri, where modern dwelling houses, hospital, cultural hall, neighborhood-serving amenities and other public facilities are in good harmony with the natural environment to present a new appearance of the mountain village, gave the visitors a clearer understanding of the new standards and goals of the rural construction of our own style.

Through the visit, the senior officials keenly realized that the new era of regional development opened on this land can lead to the promotion of the wellbeing of the regional people and the comprehensive national rejuvenation only when they conduct the construction work in the relevant areas in a revolutionary way with scientific, innovative and prospective insight and plan.

They were full of revolutionary enthusiasm to fulfill their duties in the struggle for implementing the important tasks set forth at the Ninth Congress of the WPK, hardening their determination and will to powerfully propel the regional development to a higher stage, true to the plan and intention of the great Party Central Committee. -0-
