Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex Raises Coal Production

Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Officials and coal miners of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex in the DPRK are directing efforts to securing reserve coal faces.

The coal-mining youth shock brigades and tunneling platoons conducted a high-speed tunneling campaign to secure dozens of reserve coal faces by increasing the tunneling speed 1.2 times as against the same period of last year.

The youth shock brigade members of the complex have carried out their daily plan by strengthening cooperation among shifts and conducting continuous drilling and blasting.

Workers of Inpho and Songnam youth coal mines are increasing the production through a socialist emulation between shifts and pits. -0-
