Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- The Sunchon Cement Complex in the DPRK has carried out its daily production plan at 103 percent on average.

The complex pushed ahead with the modernization of fire-resisting material production process to produce hundreds of thousands of firebricks with high heat resistance and fire resistance, thus opening up a prospect for increased production.

Its technical group updated the performance of CNC plasma cutting device to raise the precision of processed sheet metal while saving a lot of manpower and materials, and established a process of producing steel balls using high-carbon ferrochrome to improve the performance of clinker crusher and increase productivity.

The workers and technicians replaced the body of kiln No.3 in a matter of two days through application of efficient working methods.

Amid the brisk mass technological innovation movement, entities of self-reliance were built to ensure the normal operation of equipment and boost the cement production and the overhaul of the cement production line No. 3 was completed in eight days.

The production of the complex is steadily increasing thanks to the indomitable mental strength and staunch struggle of its workers. -0-
