Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- The agricultural officials and workers in the DPRK are devoting themselves to rice-transplanting.

As of May 28, scores of farms in Kangwon Province completed the rice-transplanting in the main area more than one week earlier than schedule. The rice-transplanting result throughout the province has been registered as 110 percent on a daily average.

The province is concentrating all efforts and means on the rice-transplanting while intensifying scientific guidance to shorten the period of striking root as much as possible. -0-
