Taean Heavy Machine Complex Makes Progress in Production

Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- The workers of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex in the DPRK are making progress in the production of custom-built equipment needed for various sectors of the national economy.

The complex is unfailingly carrying out its innovative plans for the modernization of processes and the current production.

It is simultaneously establishing a new quality alloyed steel-production process and upgrading equipment as part of the efforts to strengthen its material and technical foundations.

Its workers are abiding by the rules in every process to honor their daily quotas for producing equipment.

They invented an efficient jig capable of winding more insulated materials per unit time with less manpower and carried out their assembly task in a responsible manner, thus providing a guarantee for successful motor production.

They established a well-regulated equipment management system and order for ensuring the full operation of slotting machines and turning lathes and improved the quality of products, thus boosting the production of various kinds of gears needed for maintenance and repair of thermal power generating equipment. -0-
