Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Artistic Information Team of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and its primary information workers gave a performance "Vanguard Unit, March Ahead Following the Great Party!" at the Central Hall of Workers to mark the Ninth Congress of the GFTUK.

Among the audience were Kim Yong Sop, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Won Jong, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, its officials and the participants in its Ninth Congress.

The performance began with the solemn playing of the national anthem of the DPRK. Put on the stage were colorful numbers reflecting the heroic spirit and noble moral world of the working class who are performing fresh miracles and feats in all the worksites of socialist construction under the leadership of the great Party Central Committee.

The performers showed the boundless reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is making a long journey of devoted service for the people's wellbeing with his ardent love for them.

The performers also put on the stage songs reflecting the ardent love for the precious country where the genuine life and happiness of the people are in full bloom and the enthusiasm and optimism of the working people who feel pride of labor at their worksites. They were highly acclaimed by the audience.

The performance ended with choruses "May, Month of Victory" and "My Strong Motherland". -0-
