Quality of Products Improved at Regional-industry Factories in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- Employees of regional-industry factories in Sinpho City and Jongphyong County, South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK, are going on the work to develop new products and boost production while giving priority to improving the quality of products.

Sinpho City found ways for supplying enough raw materials to the regional-industry factories in properly selecting high-yielding seeds, raising per-hectare yield and making the effective use of offshore farming resources, and is now taking measures to realize them.

Jongphyong County has striven to secure raw materials necessary for the regional-industry factories by newly creating hundreds of hectares of timber and wild fruit forests and increasing the area of oil crop cultivation through a mass movement.

The regional-industry factories in Sinpho City and Jongphyong County are making progress in developing new products and improving the quality of products by enlisting their officials and employees in the online education and operating sci-tech learning spaces and organizing passing-on-technique meetings and shows.

They are also giving priority to improving the quality of products by putting the management and operation on a scientific basis.

Regional-industry factories in Sinpho City have made technological innovations to further improve the soap production process and increase the variety of foodstuffs peculiar to the region with kelp, sea cucumber, apricot, black sesame and other raw materials. Those in Jongphyong County are producing tasty and quality sweets and cakes and daily necessities in keeping with the growing demand of inhabitants.

The relevant regions are serving all the families in a responsible manner while giving priority to the supply of goods to war veterans, disabled soldiers and families of labor innovators. -0-
