Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK on Sunday dedicate editorials to the day of the election of deputies to the 15th Supreme People's Assembly.

Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that the power of the DPRK is the genuine people's one and the most solid and firm socialist one in which the people exercise power as the master.

Today the DPRK's sovereignty is being further displayed as the invincible revolutionary power and genuine people's power under the outstanding leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, the editorial says, and goes on:

The election of deputies to the 15th SPA is of greater significance as it is held in an exciting period when all the people are making a new upturn in the Juche revolution along the brilliant path indicated by the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea with the great pride of invariably holding in high esteem the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The election serves as a political occasion of demonstrating the valiant spirit of our people who are ushering in a new era of national rejuvenation by dint of single-minded unity.

The election is an expression of the absolute support and trust of all the people in the DPRK government, the entity of a genuine socialist state that embodies the people-first idea, and an expression of their firm faith and ardent patriotism to make a tangible contribution to the prosperity of the state by actively participating in the management of state and society.

Through the election, the DPRK people will renew their firm faith to glorify the country founded with their will, the socialist system supported with their love and devotion, for all ages and dynamically accelerate the general advance towards the new victory of Korean-style socialism with fresh determination and confidence in sure victory.
