Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) --  A national symposium in the field of poultry took place on March 24 and 25, under the sponsorship of the Korean Poultry Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present there were officials, scientists and technicians in the field of poultry and relevant sectors.

Presented to it were more than 40 valuable papers dealing with the ways for breeding more supra-species, establishing a scientific system of preserving pure breeds and fully ensuring the conditions of growth.

The proposals, made by Kim Il Sung University and an institute under the Academy of Poultry Science, were highly appreciated for their substantial contribution to the development of the country's poultry. -0-
