Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students across the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Placed before the statues of the President and the Chairman on Mansu Hill were floral baskets in the names of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Public Security Forces (PSF), institutions, enterprises and factories at all levels in Pyongyang.

The visitors paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders.

Laid before the statues of the great leaders in different parts of the capital city were floral baskets in the names of institutions, enterprises, units of the KPA and the PSF and bouquets and flowers.

Working people, service personnel, youth and students across the country visited the statues of the great leaders in their residential areas to pay tribute to them. -0-
