Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- According to Minju Joson, the irrigation machine production units across the DPRK are producing equipment and parts necessary for the irrigation projects as planned this year.

The Sinuiju Irrigation Machine Factory has stepped up the production of pumps of different capacities and parts including valves. It increased the production of molten steel and introduced new jigs and equipment necessary for processing to ensure high quality and speed.

The Chongjin Irrigation Machine Factory produced several large-capacity pumps this year. It has updated compressors and other equipment and operated them as required by standard working methods to raise the plastic tube production per unit time by more than 1.2 times.

The Haeju Irrigation Machine Factory has produced various kinds of irrigation parts, including sprayer, in accordance with the plan. It is directing efforts to recycling so as to reduce the cost and produce high-quality parts.

Officials and working people in the field of irrigation machinery in other regions, too, are stepping up the production of pumps and parts necessary for irrigation projects. -0-
