Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Agricultural officials and workers in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK are putting spurs to the preparations for next year's farming.

In keeping with the growing proportion of introduction of nutritive cold-bed seedlings, the municipality has built one hundred and tens of greenhouses after providing raw materials necessary for the production of multi-nutrients for rice seedlings.

Its farms have established the food production cycle of agricultural production and stockbreeding, fruit farming and stockbreeding while pushing ahead with the production of self-sufficing manure including fermented manure "Sinyang No.2" and huminite.

Meanwhile, the municipality mapped out a step-by-step plan for raising the proportion of mechanization of farm work and is securing various kinds of farm machines including nutritive rice-transplanting machines and tractor trailers and introducing paddy-field fish breeding. -0-
