Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- The Motor Transportation Bureau of the DPRK Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport over-fulfilled its yearly freight transport plan ahead of schedule.
The bureau has stepped up the expanded introduction of an integrated motor transport management system to meet the increasing demand for transport and laid its own material and technical foundations.
Its mobile brigade increased freight traffic 1.3 times as compared with the same period of last year by providing tools and accessories necessary for repairing vehicles and ensuring accident-free running.
Officials and drivers of the Pyongyang Long-Distance Road Transport Fleet transported various kinds of materials and equipment necessary for major construction sites in time by speeding up the formation of trucks and loading and ensuring the smoothness in transport.
The Pyongyang Passenger and Freight Transport Fleet has inspected trucks before running and enhanced the responsibility and role of drivers. -0-
