Moving into New Houses in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- More than 600 rural modern houses were newly built at several villages in Jangchon-ri, Hwangju County, North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

They are cozy low- and single-storied houses designed in a featured style. Built in the ri are a hall of culture, clinic, pharmacy and kindergarten. As a result, the agricultural workers came to lead a happy and worthwhile life, enjoying the socialist civilization to the full.

Each house consists of several living rooms, a kitchen and a store and other conditions convenient to inhabitants' life and there are fruit trees around it.

Ceremonies of moving into those new houses took place at the Jangchon Farm in Hwangju County on August 12.

Officials of the province including Im Hun, chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, congratulated the owners of the new houses upon their moving. -0- (Juche111.8.13.)
