Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- Medical workers from central-level hospitals in the DPRK offer field health service to coal miners.
Such a health service has been provided at the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine under the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex.
Medical workers from the Kim Man Yu Hospital and the Pyongyang University of Medicine Hospital examined the health of coal miners and introduced effective remedies suited to their constitution and diseases. Such service encouraged them to strive for the production of coal in good health.
Those from the Koryo Medicine General Hospital gave medical assistance to coal miners by using acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion, and explained common health and hygienic knowledge to coal miners.
Those from the Dermatological Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health and the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital visited coal miners' families to learn about their health state, and have dedicated themselves to treatment.
Those from the Ryugyong Dental Hospital and the General Dental Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health treated with sincerity coal miners at the Tokchon Coal Mine and the Sochang Youth Coal Mine under the Tokchon Area Coal-mining Complex. -0-
