Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Groundbreaking ceremonies of regional-industry factories in Kangdong, Jangyon, Puryong and Kim Jong Suk counties, regional-industry factories and a leisure complex in Kaephung District, and Unsan paper factory for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy took place on Friday on the spots.

Present there were Jo Yong Won, Kim Tok Hun and Choe Tong Myong, secretaries of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Han Kwang Sang, department director of the C.C., WPK, Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK, chief secretaries of provincial committees of the WPK, officials and working people of the relevant provinces, counties and district, and service personnel and builders.

Speeches were made at the ceremonies.

The speakers noted that the gigantic construction projects requiring huge investment are being launched every year without fail, stressing this stirring reality is a great construction campaign that could be launched only by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

They said that the blueprints preserving peculiarities of the relevant areas and optimizing all elements of the buildings were provided, thanks to the meticulous guidance of him who clearly indicated the orientation and ways for putting the next-stage regional construction on a higher level of development and gave detailed instructions so that industrial facilities can be built in a diverse, non-repetitive and efficient way in conformity with their functions.

They ardently called for more dynamically advancing toward the Ninth Congress of the WPK and achieving only proud victories, saying that the people's joy and happiness will be redoubled and the country will confidently advance towards the eternal prosperity, along with the increase of entities of transformation intensively reflecting the Party's ideology and policy and aesthetic view in cities and counties across the country.

Then followed oath-taking speeches.

Officials and working people encouraged soldier-builders advancing to the construction sites to the tune of the dynamic songs of the revolutionary army, flying the flags of regiments associated with the great trust of the Party Central Committee.

The builders started the projects with a single mind to uphold the grand plan of the Party with their brave and vigorous labor efforts, operating heavy machines at full capacity. -0-
