Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- The workers of the Kaechon Area Coal-mining Complex in the DPRK, out to implement their tasks for the first year of the new Five-year Plan, are increasing the coal production as compared with the same period of last year.

The Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine introduced working methods suited to the conditions of coal beds and organized a socialist emulation among units to fulfill its daily plan.

The Kaechon Coal Mine increased its transport capacity 1.3 times and has repaired the mine cars by itself to register high results in production.

The Kaechon Coal-mining Machine Factory and other self-reliance bases have supplied a large number of coal wagons, V-shaped iron props and accessories necessary for coal production. -0-
