Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, new regional-industry factories in Ryanggang Province of the DPRK have developed dozens of new products including perilla cake and garment rinse.

The Kim Jong Suk County Foodstuff Factory has increased the variety of products by twice as compared with the early days of its inauguration by relying on raw materials abundant in the region. Pine-nut liquor, pine-nut cake and wild pear incense syrup were highly appreciated at an exhibition recently held on a nationwide scale.

Kim Hyong Jik County, too, is developing new products and specialties favored by the people by using wild herbs and wild fruits. The pumpkin seed oil, a new product developed at its foodstuff factory, is popular among not only the residents in the county but also people in the provincial seat and other regions. -0-
