Modernization of Local Industrial Factories Propelled in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK pushes forward with the work to modernize the local industrial factories.

Its officials set a scientific and innovative goal to put local industrial factories on the level of those in Kimhwa County of Kangwon Province and raise the quality of consumer goods. They have striven to attain this goal.

Cities and counties take stronger economic and technical measures on the principle of increasing the ranks of technicians and skilled workers and improving the factories related to the people's living.

The Kim Chaek City Condiment Factory newly established and improved the production processes of milk powder, soy source and oil to raise the quality and amount of products.

So they supply highly-nutritious and delicious dairy goods and basic foodstuff to nurseries, kindergartens and public commercial and catering establishments.

Various industrial factories in Orang and Musan counties, too, modernized production processes and equipment with local efforts to produce different kinds of paper and plastic goods including notebooks and vinyl pipes. -0- (Juche111.8.13.)
