Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- The Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factory has been remodeled in Jangphung County, Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK.

Its remodeling laid a foundation for mass-producing efficacious traditional medicines by using medicinal herbs and materials abundant in the region.

The factory has a room for liquid medicine and mixed dough room and a foundation for producing tens of kinds of efficacious Koryo medicines on a regular basis.

It also created two hectares of forest of medicinal trees for supplying raw materials and is planting and cultivating such medicinal trees as Aronia melanocarpa, ginkgo tree and Armur cork tree. -0-
