Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- People's Athlete Pang Chol Mi, a boxer of the Kumgangsan Sports Club, is one of the ten best players of the DPRK for 2025.
This is the fifth time she has been listed as one of the ten best players of the DPRK.
She won gold medals at the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships in 2018 and 2025 and became a twice world championship holder.
At last year's championships, she inflicted a standing count on her several opponents, demonstrating the power of her iron fists.
It is IBA members' view that she is a world-class good player who can win the world championship again.
She was born into an ordinary farmer's family in Jongju City, North Phyongan Province.
She learned the basic boxing technique at the then Jongju City Juvenile Sports School and distinguished herself in national games, drawing the attention of experts.
She proved successful at the DPRK Championships in 2021, the 18th and 19th Asian Games, the 33rd Olympic Games and other national and international games.
She is now training hard after setting a higher goal of becoming a thrice world championship holder. -0-
