Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Cage-net fish farming gets popular in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK, according to Rodong Sinmun.

Dozens of units conduct the cage-net fish farming in the province.

The province set a goal to develop cage-net fish farming on a large scale in conformity with the natural and geographical features of the province having many lakes and reservoirs, and generalized the experience gained by various units in Unchon County which achieved successes in the cage-net fish farming.

Ongjin, Pyoksong, Sinchon and Unnyul counties have secured fast-growing breeding fish adapted to local conditions.

Relevant regions and units increased the puffed feed production and prepared animal protein feed. As a result, cage-net fish farms have increased in lakes and reservoirs in the province. -0-
